It brings immense pleasure to my team and me to present this exhilarating edition of Careers 365 Magazine. The response to our previous issue was overwhelming; the relevance, significance, and quality of the articles propelled it to soar across social media, reaching thousands of homes and offices. Yet, our commitment remains unwavering to bring you cutting-edge material that demystifies the complexities of the job market and career development. This publication aims to enhance employability and boost promotability for readers who engage thoughtfully with the content.
Last month, we delivered knowledge that many found both useful and actionable, addressing challenges in employment and entrepreneurship. In this edition, we go even deeper, offering solutions captured in thought-provoking write-ups. Our columnists have contributed insights of immense value. We are pleased, as always, to feature our media partner, the illustrious 3KTV, as they explore the benefits of advertising on their platform.
Our cover story features Sympathy Mangwenya, a multi-faceted and eminent leader, whose article is as rich and inspiring as her own legacy. Manasi Kelkar, an expert Mindfulness Coach from India, shares an insightful piece on Emotional Immunity. Other fascinating accounts include exploring careers in truck driving for women and highlights from the Schools Expo held in May in Harare. We also feature rising talent, such as 17-year-old coach Amanda from Norton, and a compelling article, Self-Betrayal: The Enemy of Success, by Dr. Nothando Moyo, offering valuable lessons for readers at any stage of life.
Master Coach Emma continues to inspire with her piece Failing Forward, while Charles Tichavavamwe addresses Navigating the Career Choice Dilemma, a contribution that captures the essence of this magazine. Multi-award-winning coach, leader, and author Dr. Merjury Chipato also shares expert insights in Thriving in the Medical Field. These are just highlights of the wealth of wisdom contained in this edition.
We are proud to report on the two Career Expos held in May. The first took place on May 12, 2023, in partnership with the Ministry of Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare. The second saw ICMF collaborating with Marchwood Senior School in Knowe, Norton, staging a Career Fair for local students, who were the primary beneficiaries.
In addition, this issue features over 60 job vacancies and details the ICMF Event Planning and Management course, equipping participants with in-demand skills for today’s dynamic market.
We trust that you will find this edition both enriching and inspiring.
